What a voucher contains
Each voucher belongs to a package. The package defines its duration, speed profile, data allowance, price, and target MikroTik profile. The code itself should be unique and difficult to guess.
A simple sales flow
- Create the package. Decide the time, speed, data limit, price, and MikroTik profile.
- Generate a voucher batch. Create only the quantity you expect to sell and name the batch clearly.
- Sell one code. Give the customer a single unused voucher and record the sale.
- Let the guest redeem it. The guest opens the portal, enters the voucher, and receives hotspot login details.
- Track its status. A redeemed voucher must not work again.
Keep vouchers under control
- Do not publish an entire batch in a public chat.
- Separate staff access from customer voucher batches.
- Expire old promotional vouchers.
- Compare sold vouchers with payment or cash records at the end of each shift.
- Test that the assigned MikroTik profile enforces the advertised limits.
